Of course there is luck involved in either venture, depends on the roll of the pins not too mention oil travel on the lanes. Like you I've won many races thru the years and probably bowled a few thousand games, with a 214 average.

Leo, Thanks for the info and interesting article. Per my earlier post, with the limited run time and use I think my alternator does a good job keeping up. The article leaned toward street cars and I still enjoyed the read.

Like you I also wired a Denso too the battery with #8 wire with fuse and never had any problems. During long down time, I have a charger in the trailer.

Heck Mike, I'd welcome a .007 or .008 any day, all day, then you pull up next to someone that pounds a .002 or .003 and they run their number. Next weekend! :cursin:
Malex, I am really liking the Tricks on your ride. Adds a little nostalgia, like it needed. Don't get me wrong Torque Thrusts are great, I had some many years ago on the street. I can almost hear a whisper, Thanks Mike

Mike, if I may I would like to add my thoughts/experience too oldbee's comments. I ran extensions on my GTX many years ago and it seemed to help the bottom end somewhat. I changed to Hedman Husler race headers and now it 60 fts. better. Was it the header change, I don't know!

Budnicks, A friend in CA. who also did all my machine work ran a Cole hull, Rodec powered BFFB named "California Dreamin" crashed it somewhere in Southern Ca.
And where are those recently acquired Super tricks for the rear? Could be a wee bit lighter once you get them mounted. I'm sure those numbers you desire will be there. Best of luck and be safe! :drama:
