I was never a fan of fender well headers but back in 1962 that's all folks had, and most were homemade. To me the 1962 dart is the mopar holy grail. If it were me I'd do some tti headers and level the car out. Whatever you do that's the mopar I wish I would've built.
An A body with the 1973 and later knuckles will use the same lower ball joint/steering arm as a B body 1962-72, right?
There have been comments about alignment curve differences with the dropped spindles, maybe some bump steer increases as well.
I don't see the need for them since stiffer...
Interchangeability, I do not know enough to comment.
I figure low headers need reprogramming by just driving the car, bumps and all. like self-tuning EFI.

I have a left side inner rocker to frame rail brace from a 64 Polara. I believe this is the same for 62-65.
Solid brace for rust repair or to replace the brace cut out for fender well headers. I only have the left side.
$60.00 shipped in US. PM me if interested.
My point, they were NOT called "B" bodies in 1962. The 1963 were called "B" bodies, and since they shared basically the same platforms, they back named the 1962's "B" bodies.
Not sure I agree there were any "B" bodies in 1961, nor that any shared a platform.
I admit this is borderline minutia...
So.. i did enough reading to get confused :) I am switching my 62 poly to a LA and hadn't considered exhaust til now (still early, just planning ahead.. haven't found a engine yet) But i decided to look for headers.. i have read that basically any b-body headers even into the 70's would fit...
Greetings,
I have a 1971-383 in my 1962 Polara 500. Will "ANY" year HP manifolds fit without any issues in my car? Time to get rid of the rusty headers and go with some HP exhaust manifolds.
THANKS!
