4a- Start bleeding furthest from the master cylinder first. RR, LR, RF, LF. A spongy pedal is usually air in the system. Does the pedal improve if you pump it a couple times? If so, it's air.

The hole with the big arrow is the one. Key in, I believe you have to turn the key a little to get it in the correct position to push the release button. The red circle below is the leg you see, the green circle is the release button you are after.

Using this method you have no idea of your total timing. It may idle good. It may be good at part throttle. But unless you put a light on it to check total advance yu are playing with fire.

Now that I think about it more,You should check the FSM. IIRC there are two pistons and if line pressure is lost they will move together and can get stuck.
I might be full of crap, like I said check the FSM.
