Came from a B body iirc and don't even remember the widths anymore. Anyways, all threads are still in great shape. Looks like the u-bolts weren't overtightened. Over all, it looks good but dirty. Been in the shop rafters for lots of years.
TRH is handing out vouchers between 11 and 2 and if you have one that's expired, don't throw it away. The store here still honors them and I'm betting other stores do the same....
My first beater was a 67 Dart that was a 273 car with no transmission that I bought from a local dealer. Why a new car dealership would have this is....well, it might have come off the used car side and got repoed but the car was already 7 years old. Anyways, found a smashed 67 Barracuda /6...
Woke up at 1:23 this morning and laid there for another hour and finally got up. Eh, got about 5 hours sleep but pretty much took it easy yesterday. Got about 9 hours Sunday night though.
Today was my day. Was moving a water sprinkler and the cheap 2 dollar hose was cold and didn't want to follow me too well and I stepped on it while moving and down I went. Bad thing was I was walking across the driveway. Banged up my right knee and elbow and just bumped my head a bit. Broke the...
Can't remember Dan's last name right now but we got along just fine but Mark hated me lol. Both are gone now.....the car was good with Dan driving it. 4 speed car, Jerico box.
I have a large journal crank (door stop?) for a 327 that's turned down .030 on the mains. Journals are .020 but are there bearings made for .040 under? I'm pretty sure it's going to need turning. Someone painted it thinking it was going to protect it but it didn't. Not in the Houston area at...
Mine was a dial bore gauge...got it shortly before I stopped doing engines for others and used it a few times but over 20 years ago. I'm checking out a 327 old school Chevy engine (first one to ever be in my shop!!) and decided to set it up for it and.....well, took me a bit to get it right lol.
The house next door was built 18 years ago and a new owner took over about 5 years ago and had the shingles sprayed/cleaned a couple of years later. Looked good until Hurricane Beryl came through a little over a year ago and blew a lot of them off. My roof is around 25 years old and lost one tab...
The new/used wheel came with the air pressure sensor and I'm wondering if it will work with the vehicle's computer. The wheel is for a 22 Chevy Colorado. The original spare didn't have one since it's just a steely and the truck has the upgraded aluminum wheels on the ground.
Found a horn (probably off my Belvedere?) that still works but it didn't seem very loud. Last time to check one was back in the 70's. Is a 6 amp battery charger stout enough for a horn test?
Did one after my last wife took all the money and not much else. So far, this house has survived 2 X's and I'm into my 3rd. Was prepared to live the rest of my life single before this crazy woman came into my life about 6 years after my divorce lol. All I can say is that....I'm happy!! I'm...
Very nice truck that belongs to a friend. Was with him when we found it 100 miles west of Houston when it was just a couple of years old. Anything that was wrong with it, he fixed right away. Out of the blue he wants a new Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Summit? package. I know they are nice but...
