You guys know I'm into '73 Grand Ams.

I've got three of them, none are finished. Two 455's and one hot rodded 400. I know a lot about GA's but even I learned some new things. Basically the second half of this video. Not putting down Mopars, I have 4 of them.

The Pontiac Trans Sport dustbuster van or other weird cars you like.

Now that these vans have gone down as a historic failure I really want one. It has to be white and in relatively good shape. Let me know if you find one. It looks like the F-ing Space shuttle. Are there any oddball cars you like that everyone else hates?

Guess the vehicle in the photo.

My son is an engineer for the Colorado Department of Transportation. He sent this photo to me. Guess which vehicle he drove today instead of his state-issued truck. Hint: It's a 1971.

    Aluminum radiator/electric fans for '71 Charger 383?

We are at the stage of the restoration where the newly rebuilt 383 (original) is starting running and idling. While we were filling the cooling system the engine was starting to get hot. We shut it off before it got hot. It has a 26" radiator out of a Chrysler 300 Hurst. It has no shroud. I...

Today was a good day for the '71 Charger 500.

We were having trouble getting fuel to the engine. We got the fuel flowing and the engine sounded great. Close to being on the road.

Let's just talk cash money. How much to covert a 1970 Coronet 500 to a 5 or 6 speed manual?

The car: 1970 Coronet 500 very stock in semi rough shape. hardly any rust. 383 column shift auto. Realistically changing to a Tremec 5 or 6 speed manual? $$$$$? I'd like to recreate a car I lusted for in high school. Huge air shocks, big rear meats.

For those without Motor Trend. Hemi in a junkyard Belvedere.

It's on regular YouTube. Warning, they skip a lot of the build. Another one from YouTube. I bought a rusty 1969 Charger and it's worse than I thought.

List your car-related pet's names here.

We have the big male Newfoundland at 165 pounds. His name is Diesel. His son is a svelt 110 pounds and his name is Nitro. When the kids were little we had a cat named Shelby but he was too mean. We had to get rid of him. He kept biting the children.

Theft recovery photo of the Kia. Follow up.

They did allow her to grab two jackets from the recovered Kia Seltos SUV. I wonder if it will go to the Denver Copart auction. The window says, BIOHAZARD METH AND FETENYL POSITIVE. She got a $15,000 settlement for it. High miles for the year. 135,000 miles.

An interesting car theft story close to home.

My ex, Jacque, walked into her garage a couple of weeks ago only to find her Kia Seltos stolen. Here are the details in the order in which they were discovered. She didn't leave the garage door open so someone must have opened it manually, making less noise. Her keys were in the SUV. (I...

    Slap Stick shifter handle function?

We are getting close to being done with the 71 Charger 500. I went to check to make sure the trans was in N or Park and the thumb button was depressed and wouldn't pop out. I took it apart and I could depress the skinny rod inside the shift lever and change gears but I wondered what was wrong...

    Bypassing the ignition?

Specifically on the 1970 Coronet 500 with a 383. We tried it last summer but one guy had to lie on the ground because he said the solenoid was on the starter then we touched the wire to the battery if I remember correctly. The guys on TV have a little handheld device to do this somehow. What...

Small body stripes on a 1971 Charger 500?

When I bought the car it was very original, with original paint, etc. It's Hemi Orange and it had (if my memory is correct) two thin double pinstripes following the fender creases. It also had the number 500 in a small extended font. When I had it painted I figured no big deal, I'll just replace...

What does the air cleaner look like on a 1971 Charger 383?

We're getting down to the small stuff on the 1971 Charger 500. What did the air cleaner and the decal look like on the high-performance 383? There are a ton of pictures out there but what's correct?

A dance scene from a very strange movie. I think you'll like it.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The script/story kinda sucks but the visuals are AWESOME throughout the entire movie. This dance scene just appeared out of nowhere.

    Valance pronunciation?

As in the front valance we just put on the 1971 Charger. Vai lance. Long a. or Val as in Valiant ance

    Hagerty's Bull Market Report Card. 2020 2021 2022

Hagerty is releasing how well they predicted which vehicles would increase in value. Some did well, some not so much. I remember how much flak the Suzuki Samurai got when I posted the list from 2022. It increased 32%. https://www.hagerty.com/media/ I think the new list is coming out Dec...

Do you have any close relatives over 90?

I would like to hear your/their stories. Where are they from? What are some of the hardships they faced in their youth? For instance, my mom is 93. She is still with it mentally and can tell me about her youth. Her name is Haldis, as you know we came from Norway. Her father got a homestead...
