There used to be a web site called mymopar.com You enter some info from your fender tag and it will break it done by how many cars built with the options listed. My brother has a 74 Road Runner GTX, worked out to be 1 of 5.
Check to see if shift linkage is set up properly. Car on the ground or drive on lift, put shifter in 1st. Disconect and make sure it is in gear properly.
Does anyone know where to get a dash panel for a 62 Savoy, I do not need the gauges just the panel. It has to be for a manual trans car. Thanks for the help.
I use a starter from a Dakota 4x4 with a 5.9v8. It clears my headers and no problem starting. A local racer recommended it, same he uses on his 512 stroker.
I used a test light, multi meter, and spark plug tester. Test light gets dimmer as I move along, when engine is cranked the light on plug tester is orange instead of bright white. I have a electrician buddy coming to do some tests before I try starting fluid.
No sign of a burnt wire but my horn quit working and my turn signals flash like 4 way hazard lights. In a snow storm now so will have to put it off for a bit.
Sure, Cranky change the title, thanks. Fuel filter is new, no problem there car was working fine after I changed it. Still getting fuel.

Thanks, I will check that out. All I have is 12 gauge wire is that okay?
My car was running on Tuesday, now cranks but won't start. I have power all the way to the plug, all grounds are clean and tight. Could the plug be fouled? Tank and fuel lines were drained when stored, fresh premium was put in tank. Thanks for your input.
I have Edelbrock RPM heads and had to use TTi headers, they were the only ones listed to fit my 62. I went ceramic because of the climate I live in and was told they retain heat better.
I am changing out the brake hoses on my 62 Savoy manual drum brakes. Since I have no idea how old the fluid is I am going to flush the whole system and start fresh. I do not know what fluid to use, the part store said the DOT 4 synthetic I have from my caravan should be safe. Hoping for input...
Every time it rains I get water in my glove box and on the floor, the only thing I can think of is the wiper gaskets are shot. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I am thinking about switching from a double roller chain drive to a gear drive for the cam in my 440. Does anyone use this, looking for feed back, pro's and con's. Thanks.
Happy 4th of July people, not sure what is going on with the Government down there. I think they need to be reminded that they are in the land of the free.
It seems that all mopars must be Dodges, just like all classic motorcycles are Harleys. My brother got so tired of people walking up to his 1968 Triumph and asking what model of Harley it was that he painted "Hey asshole it's a Triumph" on the rear fender and gas tank. A bit extreme perhaps.
