Same effect as air shocks. Moving support from leaf springs to cross member. Which was not designed to carry the load. Some people get lucky and nothing happens, others the shock punches thru the trunk floor. I do not know of any way to predict which you would be.
It’s close but either need to move the hole over which can cause the end of the hydraulic cylinder to hit the inner fender or move connection on pedal over to straighten out the connection. If you have enough room the first is the easiest. The second requires some fab and welding on the pedal
I have a American power train hydraulic set up in my rr. It went in fairly easily except for one problem. The connecting rod from the clutch pedal to the torque tube has a bend in it. This means that the connection point on the pedal needs to come over to the brake pedal direction about an...
18 spline is designed for the hemi. The input shaft is bigger diameter.
23 spline is for the rest and input shaft is a little smaller. Still an excellent tranny. Will be all you need for your 383. Much more affordable.

Higher comp, higher octane needed. Whatever direction use best quality parts you can. You do not want to pull and redo engine because got lower quality and it broke. Means upgrade rods. They aren’t that expensive comparatively. Don’t over look bearings and small parts as well. Sounds like a fun...
I see and can agree with your issue. A very good quality flare tool will be a must. I would not even want to think of how angry I would be if after all the bends and it messes up the flare at the end and now it’s too short.
Use the online comp. Ads etc to show where the lines go. Most 69s are...
Good decision. If your coronet is the same as a roadrunner the cross bar on the top of the shocks is not designed to carry the weight of the car and they have been known to punch through the floor of the trunk.
They make a tool, cheap, to clamp the rubber brake line, or in a pinch straight vise grip plier with something in jaws to keep from puncturing the brake line.
