My hood and pin setup on my old Coronet. It was a hinged hood. The rear pins were dummies for looks only. I made a simple air dam around the rear of the carb which directed air into the carb after it entered the scoop. I liked the look of the the 4 pins in front though maybe not necessary. Hood...

In my 66 Coronet....Closest race for me...Semi Final. I ran a 10.1700 on my 10.17 dial. My opponent ran a 11.599 on his 11.60 dial. I have a picture of the time slip but for some reason it wouldn't load.

I don't know how much weight I saved on my 66 Coronet front bumper brackets but after I cut them down the new ones weighted almost nothing. Only good for fiber glass front bumper though.
