We started discussing this last night over MLB playoffs and brewskis...I thought it might be fun here too.
Even if they weren't considered a "main" character or a cast regular, who are/were some of your favorites?
"Coach" from Cheers.

I'm starting to see information about roller cams that contradicts what we've been told regarding oils and break-in procedures.
As we've all heard by now, the benefit of rollers is no flat tappet-style break in, no zddp or special oils needed...but there's also been plenty of documented...
Hi all, I posted this in General Tech before and didn't get any solid info, so thought I'd try it here before letting it go....The new Weiand Hi-Rams for RB engines are part #1987, and I see several #5987 manifolds, also referred to as 'stage 2' which seem to be a former model that's available...
If so, I'm interested in your techniques/materials used and how it came out. I imagine they need to be sanded with various grits until smooth, and then worked over with the polishing wheel until shiny...but that's my vague vision and I'd love to hear details and results if anyone has any to...
Please consider these checklist items first.
I've posted this list in previous threads, but have just heard of another (chebby lol) friend having a FT cam go flat 10 minutes into run-in....it never ends!
It sucks, but gone are the days of "just stab it and go" cam installs....

...to have the page buttons appear at the top of the threads? We had that before the last upgrade.
I don't know if it's just an Android thing but if the buttons could be at the top of the threads that'd be awesome, thanks.
This,
....a brake pedal pad that's worth a s**t? ('68 auto trans car pad in my case) I've had one on my car for about 6 years now (I think it was from Classic or the Year One) and it bugs me that it's always lifting off. It's like it's too soft or the lip that holds it on the pedal is too small.
You...
..Since Dale Sr. died.
In full disclosure I was never a real big nascar guy, but racin's racin and hotroddn's in the blood! Another member started a thread about the former "Speedvision" channel posting some old shows out on the youtube. Mostly old 'Pinks' and drag racing stuff which is cool...
Anyone know why the gear set pricing is all over the place? Looking at r&p sets for an 8-3/4, and at most places (the Summit, Mancini's etc) they range from around $250 to almost $500? And the 'Doctor of Diffs' has them for a shade under $200. It's not like one set is a 'Pro' gear, these are for...
