    SOLD 1969 Super Bee

Real 1969 Super Bee, originally a 383, 4 speed, bucket seat car. Now, a 440 six pack, dynoed at 520hp, 5 speed car. Paint is in great shape, no filler,(will pass your magnet test). Interior very nice. Car has 4:10 gears. This led me to change to a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed last year. Makes the car...

Any 6 pack tuners near St Louis

No O2 sensor. Just not running as strong as it should, seems rich. I think the carbs need a little attention. I don’t have the mechanical skills to do it myself.

Any 6 pack tuners near St Louis

I have a 6 pack 440 that could use a tune up. Any good mechanics around St.Louis that are good at these. I live in Illinois, so metro area is good too

    440 Shakes too Much

Okay. Replaced the driver’s side with Moroso solid. Started it up and now thaw fan hits the shroud. I think the new solid is about a 1/4 in taller than the one that came out. Fixed the take off in first, but now may have bother issues! I can look at the motor from the front and see it’s off...

    440 Shakes too Much

Tinker67, that looks like a good idea! It's simple and out of the way. I'd have to find a way to make the strap, but should be simple install. Probably start with drivers side solid, since I ordered them today. Thanks for all the tips! I'll update this after we get it in

    440 Shakes too Much

Thanks!I ordered the Moroso solid mounts. Think I’ll start with one on just driver’s side, and see how that goes. If it doesn’t fix my issue, I’ll keep trying to get one of my buddies that know more than me, to help me with a strap. Just hope the one solid doesn’t add too much vibration inside...

    440 Shakes too Much

I looked at Schumacher, but they’re out of business. I think with a solid on just the driver’s side, may not be too much vibration.? Not sure. It’s at least something I can do. I’m not a great mechanic or fabricator to come up with a good strap idea on my own. The few guys I know that are good at...

    440 Shakes too Much

Thanks Runcharger! That’s what I was thinking may be the best and easiest fix. Beats trying to rig up some contraption fit a torque strap, and figuring out where to attach it. Motor mount you know what to do!

    440 Shakes too Much

Thanks. Any suggestions on which ones to use. Don’t want too much vibration inside either though. Is that easier than trying rig up some sort of strap? Solid just on driver’s side?

    440 Shakes too Much

I have a 440 6pack in my 69 Bee. Supposed to have dynoed around 520hp. When I got the car it had a homemade torque strap on it, using a turnbuckle and connected behind the power steering. Just had Vintage Air installed and new brackets and pulleys. That didn’t leave room for the torque strap...

    Rear Sway Bar

Thanks guys! As always, a wealth of advice. I was wondering if I may need to move brake lines, or if my 3” exhaust may be in the way.

    Rear Sway Bar

Looks like PST rear bar is 7/8 inch. Would that be a bit much for what I’m after? Motor is a 440 six pack. I’m not sure about the leaf springs. How do I tell stage 4 or not? I think they are probably stock.

    Rear Sway Bar

I have .96 torsion bars now. The Firm Feel rear sway is nice how it mounts, but is about twice as much as others! I think that 3/4 inch is what I need. Just improve the roll a bit without the harsh ride. I know a buddy put the PST rear bar on his 69 Charger and said it it was a good improvement...
