Hello All.
I'm looking to sell these wheels and tires. Before I put them on the for sale forum....does anyone have an idea of a fair asking price for the set of 4 with lug nuts?
Hey all,
Super frustrating. No, I don't have a climate controlled storage area here in Wisconsin. I've driven my GTX less than 200 miles in the 10 years these headers have been on the car.
Are these something I could have coated? If so, where? How much?
I don't want to reinvent the...
OK. So you're saying the car was built on Halloween day in 1969? Any insight on the casting dates or stamping information I'm looking for to put a period correct 440 in the car?
Hey guys,
I've got a 1970 GTX. I pulled the 1972 engine out of the car and swapped it into my drag dart. The engine needs race gas, and it tends to get hot on summer cruises. At any rate, I'm now on the hunt for a correct date coded 440. My fender tag states "A31" for a date code. I...
Power steering pump, brackets and pulley. I believe these are "Saginaw". I bought this from a bone yard, several years ago. It was for my 70 GTX. I have since bought and installed the complete kit from Bouchillon Performance, and have no further need for this.
$100 plus the ride.
Hey guys, I've got the Metro Super soft weather strip and the 3M Black sealant ready to go. My question, does the weatherstrip ride in the deep groove or inside the groove closer to the edge of the trunk opening?
If anyone had a photo of their trunk weatherstrip that would be awesome!
I stand corrected. Per the "red book" the coupe had 29,240 built in 68 vs. 15,358 hard tops. I was apparently looking at the wrong year. Thanks for your input.
OK. I "bucked up" and spent the $1,200+ dollars for the complete "factory correct" looking power steering for my GTX from Bouchillon Performance.
With the 440, and pistol grip steering this car at slow speed is like wresting a Grizzly bear.
Has anyone out there complete the conversion...
The research I've done shows the Hardtops bring a few more bucks than the coupes. This I find odd because the production numbers on the hard tops were higher despite the initial expense of the vehicle.
What do you guys think of the hard top vs. the coupe/post cars?
Thank you very much! That was very helpful. The only one I cant seem to figure out is the second alphabetical row, under what looks like the "Z". I believe that is a 7....? Anybody got a clue on this one???
I've never owned a 68 before.
Can anyone help me with the fender tag decoding??? This is Greek to me compared to the 69-70's I'm familiar with
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I wish you were closer. I'd be very interested in the car.....but Wisconsin to NY is a heck of a trip. From where I stand....I think you have a car in the mid $30K range there.
In the little research I've done, I can't seem to find these for sale. These came with a 69 Dart GTS I just purchased.
Does anyone know if there is a difference between the A,B,E body visor pins???
Any idea what a fair price for these would be????
I'd like to put them in the "for sale"...
