You can get just flanges from Accurate.
2-1/4" would be the original size.

I agree with replacing the voltage limiter.
My limiter stuck closed a couple years ago and opened up my temperature gauge.
I replaced the limiter with the RTE upgrade and repaired the temp gauge but it reads low now.
So I'll need to replace that at some point.
Sounds like a worn fuel pump pushrod.
You shouldn't hear it at all.
If so it's a bad thing and needs to be corrected.
And if it were myself I'd put the old plugs in it and throw the Autolites in the trash.
That's pretty cool.
I found adding tips helped quite a bit.
I have 2-1/4" with a similar setup h-pipe and magna- flows it was really really annoying going up a grade around 35-40 mph.

I'd start with the brakes first.
The original single pot master cylinder can be replaced with a dual 1967 up style pretty easily.
You'll need a conversion block for the extra brake line.
I would definitely replace the rubber lines and suggest getting a kit for the hard lines...
