You actually can use the alternator you have. IF you remove the ground brush and use a isolator and brush assembly that now will ground in the Factory style electronic regulator. You will have some wiring to do to connect.
A later model service manual, 1970 up diagram will be needed. Also found...
You will be surprised how well the tri-y's work .I had them on 2 different B body cars, both street driven.
499 RB and a 451 B .If I did another I would use them again.
One thing to look for for good fit is the condition of the Motor Mounts along with the Transmission Mount.
Old saggy mounts play havoc with fit when installing new headers.Even new ones may need shims some times.
Tho I'm a huge fan of TTI's, I've never had a problem with the low price headers...

I've been doing 62-65 B cars for awhile. Like anything else in this hobby, yes they are getting more expensive and few and far between. Even the 4 door cars. Keep searching and asking around something will come up.
I found my last few on Craig's List and Facebook Market place.
Most all will find this. Either side. My 63 was tighter on the passenger side.

+ or - 1 to 2...
Yes this can be a oil loss problem. But you should see blue /gray smoke from the tail pipes.
Remember water is heavier than oil. Did you pull the drain plug? Water will be the first to come out.
JNC looks the same as a MAC that I had. Used twice in 2 years and the battery failed. Battery cost more than replacing the whole unit.Should have checked on it more.
This may be the problem that I had. Out of sight, out of mind.
You may want to try Wild Cat Auto Wreckers in Oregon.
Large Mopar yard. I have bought and had very good luck with them.
They may have a P.S. shaft that you need. Just a thought.
Quality of parts are poorer than poor anymore.
Mine was just the opposite. Master disc kit from Pirate Jacks. The master would stick and drag the brakes.
Took 2 to get it right.
