Which wiper motor on 68 hemi GTX?

I have a 71 Cuda with the 3 speed wiper motor. Using the 2 speed motor comes straight out of the fire wall and limits space with a Hemi, especially if you are going with 2 Four barrels. I have a shaker hood and the 2 speed wouldn't fit at all.

Let's talk more about garage door openers.

I have 3 Chamberlain openers from 06 -10 purchased and have been flawless. When I first moved in 40 years ago I bought a Stanley opener, and once in a while door would open during the night. They sent me new receiver and still same problem. I changed codes but nothing seemed to help. I don't see...

    WOT issue 2bbl 318

I looked on Rockauto and the silent timing chain with the plastic gears is cheaper than with metal gears

    WOT issue 2bbl 318

I found it hard to believe they would use anything more expensive to make to install. Just look at the long list of recalls and it was usually to save money some where and would come back and bite them in the ***. I also find it hard to believe that a plastic part is more expensive than a metal...

    WOT issue 2bbl 318

You may have a cam problem, they were using plastic gears to save money and screw customers. I had a 318 with a new timing chain, but had many bent push rods that was having a problem at full throttle backfiring. Start by pulling a plug wire at a time and see what response you get.

    Sanity check for charging system

Might have been the regulator all along and not the alternator.

    Sanity check for charging system

Since you didn't say anything about the regulator that also has a lot to do with limiting voltage, did you replace it? Voltage should be at least 13 volts to charge battery. After a start the alternator would put out at least 13 -14 volts because of the starting drain on the battery. Have you...

    318 Woes

Rings probably haven't seated since new rebuild. I know you said carb is pumping, have you tried adding gas thru carb. Maybe put a jumper to plus side of coil to make sure your getting juice in the run and start position of key. If it fires and runs start troubleshooting ignition switch. Don't...

    Cost for reupholstery

Those seats look pretty straight forward. Some bucket seats are more intricate where they need wires inserted for different lines in the upholstery. On a 74 Duster, I did rear bench seat myself, but had a guy do my buckets for $800, and he had to add some material to the seat.

    Bucket seat mounting dimensions

When I did this on a 74 Duster the bench seat hole didn't line up with the 4 recessed dimples for the bucket track.

    Bucket seat mounting dimensions

I don't know about older cars, but Dusters had recesses where the holes would be in the floor pan. Just didn't use the hole that a bench seat used. The reinforcement plates go on the inside bolt holes next to console and only 2 per bucket.

440 with a small block magnum starter.

They are very reliable, mine has been in 4 years already. The best part is, there so light compared to original starter, you don't mind changing it. I bought a new one from Rock auto for about $75, they had rebuilt ones cheaper but I went for the new one.

WTB Need 426 Hemi Edelbrock Intake 7524 Dual Quad

So I looked at the manifold and there are no markings on it at all. Not even an Indy marking or part #. Sorry. I hope you get what you're looking for.

Comment by 'tonysrt' in item '55 Chrysler New Yorker'

Is it possible that may have been a 300 series Chrysler? I remember they used an Imperial grille and a few other changes. I thought 55 Chrysler had smaller tailights and had the bigger ones on the Imperial. It was the first year and I think it was called a C300. Next year, 56, started using the...
