Mach 1 for me also. But a buddy was driving as I wasn't that dumb and I didn't have a ride that would do 100. 117 indicated as I recall. Back in early '70's during High School. Definitely eye opening.

Yep, I'm on both sites. DodgeCharger.com is Charger specific, while this site is forbbodiesonly. Not too hard to figure out. Both sites are goldmines for Charger/B-body information. Send Troy (owner) a message on the site to facilitate getting on board. As Troy has a full time job he is not...
In High School in a Mach 1. My buddy's car. We were well north of 100 on the local freeway when he shut it down - as I recall we were about to pass a CHP! Just got a look at from the Officer. Slightly (more than a little!) scared me.
In ‘75 had a used F100 (Uncle was a used car dealer) that we 3 sons drove. 3-speed column, straight 6. Safe transportation.
A friend had a Mach One. New. To say it was impressive is a disservice.

Ford F-100, straight six with a column 3-speed. Piece of cake. My daughter, however, will be learning in my '68 Charger 383 4-bbl 4-speed. Just a bit more intimidating than a F-100 I'd say.

Went on Royal Caribbean a few years back. Vancouver to Anchorage through the inland passage. Then a train trip up to Fairbanks with stops at all the sights. They had their own rail dining cars, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the trip for a first taste of the State.

Technics SL-D2, playing through a pre-amp to my receiver. Part of my Living Room multimedia set-up. On Christmas Day all the old Christmas Albums will be getting spun!
