My other mopar is a 2021 Ram Rebel with the ecodiesel. I love this truck, particularly the 25mpg. Have always avoided dealership service depts whenever possible. Do all my oil, fuel filter changes. Record the maintenance events on the mopar website tagged to my truck and keep the factory...
A lot of the aftermarkets are (fit all) 80" length and some have incorrect size gear housing nut. The link above is a trusted source. IIRC, the correct length for 70B is 62".
Just about done with hillside detached garage/workshop project. As others have said 2 post for working, 4 post for storage. My 2 post lift will be moved from attached garage to center bay of the new shop. Pad was 5" with 3500psi mix. In the lift area, a 4'x15' tray, 12" deep. Gradual slope...
68RR bought in 1969 to drive back/forth to college (ASU): 4yrs
70RR bought in 1985: 6yrs
70RR vert bought in 1991: 32yrs
42yrs total. Sprinkled in there is a 1970 LT-1 Vette (5yrs) and 1973 Vette (8yrs), not Mopars but fun cars.
I wouldn't reuse the orig gasket. Probably hardened/cracked from age. Get a new one. Have a pro do this. I watched a pro install AMD windshield in my RR vert, husband/wife team. They were outstanding, said they do a lot of classics. Unfortunately they are in SOCAL. I did everything on my...
Tape measure inspection of my new detached steel garage/workshop construction. 36x24, with lift planned for center bay, workshop in right bay, parking for some mopars. Have a build thread going at garagejournal.com:

With the OP apparently ignoring 10 pages of 'don't do it', I'm wondering why OP posted at all. If the 2/4 door shows up at Hershey, will OP still take it back?
Yup, aftermarket. PO of my daughter's 69 Charger RT has a similar cage overflow rig. Daughter wanted to keep the overflow capacity so I used an older Mitsubishi Mirage overflow container, right next to the radiator. Had to fab a bracket. Almost looks stock.
The core support number mismatch and full undercoat would give me serious pause in the 200K price range. Hagerty is simply a general guide, actual worth is determined by the buyer. However, their 140K valuation seems a reasonable ballpark, perhaps a bit more if the core support number mismatch...
Mine's a vert so quarter window stuff will be different. I have a build thread focused on engine bay for my daughter's all original 69 Charger RT (440) at link below. As noted earlier a lot of the engine bay will be similar.
My Daughter's 69 Charger R/T
OE starter in my 70RR was doing the single <solenoid> click dance a few weeks ago, so I pulled it to disassemble and inspect. Since I had it apart, replaced solenoid, cleaned/checked armature, brushes were good, clutch good, new battery stud and contact assembly (old ones had some divots)...
It is tight with manifolds, but doable. Lowered RR <slowly> onto the 440, probably 1/2" or so clearance. Same with daughters 69 Charger RT. Use a couple helpers/spotters.
All surfaces to be painted were factory assembled as "Body in White", then exposed to various dipping and rust proofing processes. Good discussion of the Lynch Road process circa 1970s here.
Yea, as I recall 75 was near the tail end of the gas shortage/alternate day fillup adventure. Couldn't give BB mopars away. Black with a tan roof and interior has got to be an extremely rare combo.
