WTB 71 to 74 B body 8 3/4 axle assembly and Door lock assembly

I actually know very little about these rear ends, it was just recommended that I move from a 8.25 to an 8 3/4 since they can handle a little more. I have seen a lot of talk about 3.23 being a decent option. I would love to feel like the car isn't a slug its got a 318 in it now and the plan is...

That would be great I think I only need the passenger Rod and 2 of any matching black nobs would probably be fine, how much you thinkin?

WTB 71 to 74 B body 8 3/4 axle assembly and Door lock assembly

Sorry for the delay, both of the doors actually work fine, but its the lock on the passenger door the "Rod" that lets you unlock the door from the inside, I actually could use the cap that belongs on the driver's side I see threads but don't have whatever cap should be there.

Does this forum have an exploded version of the car so I can easily locate replacement parts? I realized that the "Rag Joint" is pretty wrecked and I am assuming that might contribute to the play in the steering.

Here are some that I have, looks like he had done rear struts at some point, I don't have a picure but I know the left side headers are pinched a little after my dad found a rather large speed bump lol

Thank you for the input! PS doesn't look like a beater lol. The 408 seems like an option considering its about 8300 it does limit my ability to polish up the drive line although maybe I would be better getting the drive line sorted out before moving to the 360 or 408 since the 318 isnt dead in...

So my best bet is an E body 8 3/4 if I am looking for something more robust, even if I went with the below recommended 408 stroked crate engine

TBH that would be great but the 318 as it sits is absolutely gutless, if budget was no option I would send it trust me lol

    1973 Satellite Questions.

Seems like the go to is the 360 then since the magnums seem pretty available, for the 8 3/4 rear isn't that something that would require a lot of cutting and welding the new one on, I recall reading that they are relativly hard to get a hold of with the axles and that they are like an inch and a...

    1973 Satellite Questions.

Well if the 5.9 Magnum isn't crazy expensive even as a crate engine I would assume I would go with that, as for trans I am not sure it needs a 6 speed, but being able to cruse on the freeway without killing it would be great.... maybe a little tire spin here and there lol. As far as the Carb, it...
