I wonder if that would work on the inside of the quarter panels in the trunk area. Looks like some type of undercoating, but not completely covered, then body color painted.
Hoping that someone can tell me about the bracing that goes from the wheel well to the inside of the quarter panel on an early B convertible. Appears to have some type of rubbery material between the brace and the quarter. Is it an adhesive?
I purchased a pair of rear wheel wells for early B bodies. My '63 convertible seems to have a different shape in the rearmost part. Almost appear to be flattened somewhat. Anybody with a convertible able to confirm or deny this observation on my part? Easy enough to modify if necessary.
You are exactly right. My dad served in WWII, uncles also. More uncles served during Korea. I served during 'Nam. Reality seems to be that when it's over; it's over. Kids think that it's video games. Not taught in schools anymore. Of course, unrevised history or civics aren't either.
Hoping that someone can share a close up picture of where the quarter panel and the rocker panel are joined. My '63 overlaps the quarter. I have been finding a lot of poorly done sheetmetal work on this thing. Just need to see what's correct.
Thanks in advance
I have been purchasing sheetmetal for my early B bodies from Wildcat wrecking. I've been happy as heck. Desert cars, no rust.

Good luck,

I just bought both left and right front floor pans for my early B body from these folks. Seem like they are going to fit well.
They are in Livonia Michigan...
