Is there a trick (or a secret wrench) to hold the rear shock nut in the crossmember? A short socket is too short for the bolt end, a long socket doesn't fit between the crossmember and trunk floor, an open end won't fit in the crossmember lip. It came off easy enough, Thanks
I have a pair of NOS shocks that have been sitting in their box for 4-5 years in my garage (30-40 years before that somewhere else). When compressed they are smooth but don't extend on their own. Are they shot or still usable? Thanks
My centerlink is hitting (rubbing) my oil pan. I came across this fix but it was on a cuda-challenger site. The steering box mounting bosses appear to be at different angles than a B-Body car (1970 Coronet). Are the mounting angles the same? Thanks

My #1 spark plug wire is at the #3 spot on my distributor cap. And to get proper timing, the vaccum advance is rotated all the way up to the coil (440). Does this mean I'm 180 degrees off on the proper installation on the distributor? Thanks
