I have the same issue on my Barracuda. I replaced the fronts after buying because the previous owner hadn't rebuilt the front suspension and wore the inner edges off the front tires. Weird thing is the old original 245/60-14 on the rear stay white and nice. The new 225/60-14 in front turn brown...

I will say that they definitely have an angle to them, but not knowing if they are supposed to be straight, it's hard to say if they are bent, or supposed to be like that and normal. Wish I could see more of the hinge.

Just checking,.... but did you notice Cass at Dr Diff also sells the full 10-2 1/2 Drum assemblies with backing plates. If it were me, I'd just order a set of those. I think he charges something like $350 for the full set that has everything you should need.
