I was having the same problem with my GTX . I finally figured out the the water pump pulley was too small, causing it to flow too fast . I changed to a larger pulley and slowed the flow. Fixed.

Steeve009, the First pic you show “wanted” is not correct for 64-65. Yhey are notched for the gasket tabs and should not have the notches. The ones chignikred showed are correct with no notches for the gaskets.

I might be a little biased but I like the gold. If you do change colors, please don’t paint the dash pad. It took me 4 years to find a good gold dash pad. Get a black one and change it. Save the gold pad in case you ever want to go back to gold.
