Just curious is there anything worthwhile to do to a stock 1969 318 2bbl to improve power some. Not looking for race engine stuff. I realize intake/4 bbl is a no brainer what else?

    UPGRADE 1962 PLYMOUTH FURY

$15k nut and bolt resto. Well worth it even though it's a 318. My moneys too thin at the moment though. I would have to install a 440,

Beautiful Fury but the 318 just kills it for me.

    UPGRADE 1962 PLYMOUTH FURY

Does a 440 bolt in or does the K member need to be changed? Re-use old trans or new one required?

    UPGRADE 1962 PLYMOUTH FURY

Looking at a 62 Fury. Has 318/push button torqueflite. If I wanted to make a hot street car, which is easier-makes most sense-install 440, hop up the 318 maybe stroker or?, install other engine? Opinions please.

1964 SPORT FURY STREET WEDGE VALUE

Then why did you use it as an example? You can't compare a "whatever" Fury to an original wedge car as far as value is concerned. This thread got out of context, I should not have asked for value but rather I was looking for the way to absolutely I.D. the car as an original wedge.

1964 SPORT FURY STREET WEDGE VALUE

"under the letters QR should be 14." This is what I was primarily after. However I don't really feel up to a total resto so I'll probably pass

1964 SPORT FURY STREET WEDGE VALUE

I'm amazed at prices you guys state. Not arguing with, just an observation. Here in SoCal guys ask $20K for a #4 318 rusty car.

1964 SPORT FURY STREET WEDGE VALUE

I can see them in the low/mid $30's turn key although maybe not a fresh restoration. Big jump in value for a Max. Are there definite numbers in the data plate that proves the car is a real SW? I think many, if not most we see for sale are clones.

1964 SPORT FURY STREET WEDGE VALUE

WOW, you have done(real) street wedge 426 cars for $25-$30K in your area. I'm in the wrong state.

1964 SPORT FURY STREET WEDGE VALUE

Couple more rookie questions. I am planning at looking at a supposed original 64 Sport Fury that has it's "original" street wedge/auto. Complete essentially rust free needs resto, basically normal body/paint/interior engine rebuild, (Calif car). What would you say it might be worth? No...

Help too much travel in brake pedal!!

The master supplied has too small of a bore. Increasing bore size decreases pressure/increase fluid moved and the pedal travels less distance to do the same amount of work. As an example, on Chevys with large front calipers (2 15/16" pistons) going from a 1" bore master to 1 1/8" bore master...
