    U joints for dana versus 8 3/4

as said earlier, have a driveshaft/clutch shop shorten the shaft and at that point put on the 1350 series yoke. If it were me, (and you can afford it) I would have the front changed also. No sense in having a small diameter, lighter duty u-joint in a heavy duty setup.

    Timed vacuum or manifold vacuum?

I'll stick a guage on it and drive it but, If I'm on the ported sie of the system wouldn't the vacuum be high through that port since the vacuum is created by the air flow through the venturi flowing past the port and creating the vacuum? - - - Updated - - - I understand the maniforld vacuum...

    Timed vacuum or manifold vacuum?

Interesting little experiment yesterday. I bumped the initial to 16* and disconnected the vac can. My total ran about 34* at 3000. Reset the idle and went for a drive. After everything was warmed up, I stood on it and under full load, I was getting backfire through the exhaust and black...

    Timed vacuum or manifold vacuum?

anyone have an opinion on the "heavily cammed engine" and the ECHLIN dist. vac. adv. Mr. Hinckley talks about? Clearly a chebby PN. but does MoPar make one? Adjustable? Right now I have that situation and am running off the ported vacuum side. I'll play with it this weekend.

Let's see some 15x10" rims under the bbodies

Thanks!! They're all bias ply. This was taken when I had Hoosier 31x13.5-15 Quick-Time Pro's on the back and Goodrich 7.10-15's on the front. I now have Mickey Thompson 28x12.5-15 on the rear and it handles much better on the street with the stiffer sidewalls. I can fit 29x13-15's on the...

This old fart gots too many 'weapons' to be paranoid :D No, really... mine are all for sport... and, and target practice.... really... Last month came across my wife's "emergency CB" that her dad gave her 35+ years ago when she went off to collage. It's a nice little portable unit...
