Where was my mind. lol I looked at the pic and saw a small block with a six pack sitting on it. Didn't register that it was a big block manifold. So I was thinking you had acquired a setup to use on your small block.
What you're really saying is you have a carb for a big block six pack. Except for the date, they're available new, so it's realistically just a big block outboard.
Yup. I talked to the guy. Talked for about 30 minutes. He's wanting to sell both cars as a package, and really isn't interested in selling the Bee without the Daytona going first. As far as price, he wants more than I do for Agent J.
I talked to the guy. He put it in the Phoenix listing to catch the B.J. people, which he said he did. Basically the entire underside of the car needs to be replaced......frame rails front and rear, trunk, and floors.
Nothing to prove or disprove that this is really a 69 "M" code motor. It's a fairly late 69 casting, and is from a Lynch Road car. But without the complete VIN on it (which isn't there) or the matching body, there is really no way to tell. It's a Lynch Road 440 with a Six Pack on it.
That car wouldn't have sold for $400K "a few years ago". It might have sold at the $200K they want now. And without saying for how much (cause it's nobody's business) I got some really good money for my A-12 when I sold it.
Now it was/is a very unique car, but it sold for more than some done...
Isn't hard to sell anything IF it's priced accordingly. People are still buying and selling cars, and those that are worth it are still bring some pretty tall money. If anything, it seems that geographical location is a bigger thing than it used to be. No one wants to "go" get a car
I know a lot about that "A-12 with no rear arm rest thing" since that's what mine is. I'd have to say it is overpriced because of the rust, and the fact that it's an automatic.
That car on Moparts is a Bee (if I remember correctly) and is very rusty.
Probably about 1800 for intake and carbs, another couple hundred for the fuel lines and brackets, 2500+ for the breather, 500 for a repop hood
You want H wheels and red stripes too?
