    MSD Ignition Problem

The 6A in my Duster was installed wrong by the previous owner, and had the main power hooked directly to the alternator. Once I reconfigured everything hooking the main power and grounds to the battery, I had a high speed miss. But it went away and hasn't returned. Just drove it 1200+ miles...

    feeling ***** in my cordoba

IF there is a relay it should have wires hooked to it. Let me preface this with the statement "I don't know how they did it on your Cordoba" but in the case of a 79 Lil Red Express they did the horn two different ways. IF the truck had a single horn, there was NO relay. If the truck had TWO...

    67 383 timing

One way you can check your chain (to a point anyway) would be to slip a socket on your crank and move it a bit in each direction. Watch your rotor and see if it moves with it. If the chain is stretched, then when you change directions the crank will move quite a bit before the distributor...

    67 383 timing

You're putting all that on a car that possibly has a trashed timing set? If the chain is stretched, you won't be able to get your timing set

69 road runner Fuel Gauge not working!

Glad to help, and glad you got it fixed. That always is a big booster....to get it working again. And speaking of that, tomorrow (Sunday) I'm gonna try to fire up this 70 runner I've been working on. I trust my part of this operation, but as for the rest of it?????????????

69 road runner Fuel Gauge not working!

The gauges work off a floating ground, and have a common power feed from the limiter. If none of the gauges are working and you've tried several limiters, then the trace for the power from the limiter may be bad

    bad dash gauges

If the limiter didn't limit the voltage (and it sounds like that's the case) then your gauges are probably burned out and need to be replaced
