    Thanks guys, I have headers and I couldn't see what was up there! I was able to get it loose so I could pull the tranny. I do not look forward to the re-install!

    I'm in the process of pulling the 727 out of the GTX and have most everything ready to pull except the starter. Question is does the top starter bolt go into the tranny or into the 440 block? I have headers and I really don't want to pull the drivers side header unless I have to. thanks
