just a FYI ....
purchase the race installation tool kit. there are 8 or 9 different size pieces included and work very well.
if you try doing this without this tool you will mess up the races .
DO NOT try using an old race turned upside down, or use a bearing to seat them.
at some point -...
think spindles are one sided - if they're switched the drag link be up front somewhere.
if the LCAs are bent that be one hell of a bend ....
can't wait to hear what the OP figures out.
interesting -
mosts assemblies are not tilted that much.
So maybe someone has way to much caster set in the alignment - caster is rotation forward or backwards from the perpendicular center line (from floor)
or something else is up .....
Bill
upper control arm bushings or maybe the LCA's have bad bushings in them.
those old dry rotted bushings disintegrate - specially when the car is getting used.
the pins are round, so u use the smaller round part of the tool.
the tool will slide around the pin, then you push down while holding the plastic block. you will feel that small clip pop, then pull it out of the plastic block.
think u may need to go in from the metal pin side.
I know on GM...
they set a tool that releases the spring clip on the metal pin - then you just pul out the wire/pin from the connector.
think it can be purchased from a auto parts store, but 100% sure you can get it from a tool truck ie: Matco etc...
