It isn't terribly unusual. Back in the day, a lot of people preferred to get aftermarket radios as they typically sounded better and had more options, and were cheaper (usually). All the cool kids had aftermarket systems. Also, it was simpler (cheaper) for the factory to just have the one...
It is the same setup on the later B bodies and the FMJ bodies. I have had both and I highly recommend the solid subframe mounts as well as eliminating the rubber in the leaf spring mounts. The car will feel much more solid all around. You can look for police cars in salvage yards and get the...
Elimination of the Iso-Clamp makes a huge improvement. Try to get solid front sub frame bushings (or at least go with poly-urethane). I don't think the offset spring hangers will fit (they didn't on a 74 Road Runner I had). A properly set up A999 should hold up fine. The low gear set will...
Are you planning any chassis mods (besides the rear axle/suspension)? I believe that there are rubber isolators on the front sub-frame that (for Drag racing especially) should be swapped for poly-urethane or metal.
I had 74 Plymouth. Converted it from 318 to 383 (back in the day-80's). All I did was remove the hoses between the canister and the engine, left the lines from the fuel tank intact and the hose connections at the canister open (uncapped). Never had any problems.
Originally, the fuel tank...
Nice going. For a non-mainline Mopar to place in a general car show is pretty good. Post some pics of the Maggie. I have always liked them (especially the GT w/T-tops).
My 74 Road Runner had EGR on it so I am betting it should have been on your 75 . Non EGR manifolds (OEM) would have been plentiful back in the day. ERG should be adjacent to the carb (passenger side I would think). I don't think it would have had an AIR pump on it unless it had the...
1975 wouldn't have had much emissions stuff. Cats weren't mandatory until 1976 and later. EGR, fuel vapor controls, retarded timing, that should be about it. Lots of friggin vacuum lines.
