I have an OEM 66 ornament but don't have the base. I just liked the one that said 383 on it. I guess the made the blank ones to replace on any model when broke?

I have bought a few hood ornaments for my 66 Satellite but none of them work. The spacing for the holes on the hood is 3/4" the ornaments I have are spaced something less for the bolt and locator pin. I'm hoping someone can tell me which is correct. I don't believe the hood was changed but I...
