O.K. I think I already know the answer, but I am hoping someone can provide me with a better way of replacing the dash speaker on my 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II. After a lot of bending and contortions of my body, arms and hands, I was able to get the old speaker out. Now I have to put the new...
I presently have a transmission cooler located in front of my radiator and am having engine overheating problems. As you can see, the transmission cooler blocks off a significant portion of the radiator, the electric fan and fan on the motor are unable to keep the motor cool when in traffic...

Here's my problem.
I am putting a Retrosound radio in my 1965 Belvedere II. I am trying to figure out how many washers and nuts it takes to install the radio. In particular I am trying to figure out how many and in what position they are needed on the radio tuner shafts.
I have included a...
Thanks for the tip on the control arm camber bolts, I'll check that out. The bushings all looked good when I was spraying them with silicone. The car's suspension was rebuilt with all new bushings about 6 years ago and has very few miles on it. I will check them again though..
That is what I was doing when I found the nut on the torsion bar had backed off. I was hitting everything (bushing) with silicone. I think I hosed everything down pretty well in that area.
I am trying to locate the source of a squeak in the front suspension of my 65 Belvedere II. I have found one problem, that being the torsion bar on the passenger side was loose. This eliminated most of the squeak, however some still remains. Any suggestions on where to look next?
I wasn't aware of the part number stamp, I will check to see if i can find it. The rear of the car has a lot of rake, probably a good 4 inches. I prefer the closer to stock look of a car and not the back end jacked up. Thanks for the tip, I will go and check for part numbers.
I went ahead and installed the new pinion snubber which I purchased from MOPAR. The old one, only had about 3 inches of height on it, while the new one is adjustable and considerably taller. Took the car out and it launches a lot harder now. I need to get it on a lift and not on jack stands in...
I bought a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II that I was told was originally being built for a drag car. I think it has a set of generic aftermarket Super Stock springs (really stiff) but i don't know for sure. Is counting the leafs the only way to determine this. The rake of the car is pretty...
O.K. Here's a question for you. I have a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere with a 440 motor, Edelbrock intake, Holley 750 double pumper, headers, MSI ignition and Bullet hi performance cam. When taking off from a dead stop, I am having problems hooking up the tires. I have as large a tire as I can get...
I haven't tore into the dash yet, I wanted to get some ideas first. I have been looking on eBay for a replacement but am not having much luck. The car isn't original so theres no need to keep the same one in it. I do want to keep the original style. Thanks for the suggestions. Now I just have...
The odometer in my 65 Belvedere II has quit working. The speedometer works fine, it's just the odometer that won't work. Any suggestions other than changing the unit out?
Contact Butch Hartman in Phoenix, Az. Butch did the cartoon of my car. Very reasonable and good. Butch is on facebook. Thanks for the suggestion about the red/phone. I think I may do something along that line.
