1962 Dart 2dr Sedan in Hamburg, Germany

Man that is one heck of a project you have there! Lots of work involved in that underside repair. You are a very brave man!!! In the end you will certainly have a very cool and unique old Mopar - which I bet there are not many of in Germany? Having spent a number of years driving in Germany I...

    dart

Wow, that's a nice looking project car! The body looks great all ready and looks to have all of the trim. Doesn't look like it will need a whole lot of work? I'm a bit partial to the 62' Plymouths but still love the B body Dart. You'll need to keep us posted with progress pictures. :)

    1964 Sport Fury

Interesting approach I guess. But hey, if it works and you get a nice finish that's all that matters. Can't wait to see it finished (as I'm sure you are too :))

    1964 Sport Fury

Looking really nice. If I may - why did you paint the car in sections like that? I'm not a painter so just curious. :)

my 63 2 door conversion alterd

Interesting. Have not seen the rear doors used for the rear panel before. Most of the conversions i have seen or read about utilize the panel section from the 2 door donor car.

    Operation: Back To The Street!!!

I toyed with removing my roll cage when I did my interior last year but I just couldn't get myself to do it. My drivers side bar was already on a hinge so I did go ahead and put the passenger side on a hinge too. I like your seat covers. I'll bet they are a lot more comfortable than vinyl.

62 Savoy will have a life soon...OH YA BABY!!

Look around some on line. I just saw an ad in one of the Mopar magazines yesterday for sub frame connectors. I'll have to remember which bathroom it was in ..... :) Let me look around and I'll let you know what I find.

62 Savoy will have a life soon...OH YA BABY!!

The subframe connectors?? No, no one around here that I'm aware of. If you had a lift and the tools to cut and weld metal it wouldn't be all that tough to make - but why bother when you can buy them already made up and just needing to be welded in...

62 Savoy will have a life soon...OH YA BABY!!

You can do this without cutting into the floor. Obviously you will need to weld some to the unibody but mine did not require cutting the floor. :icon_hang:

    Belvedere update

Nice looking ride coming together there. Man, couldn't help but to see the similarity with my 62 Savoy engine bay when I had it done. The color looks remarkably similar.

62 Savoy will have a life soon...OH YA BABY!!

With that kind of power and a stick to boot, you "will" have to consider sub frame connectors. No ifs about it - unless you never plan to get on it :) Where is your master cylinder???? I don't see one in the pictures.

62 Savoy will have a life soon...OH YA BABY!!

Fantastic car!! I love the stick in that set up. You are going to have a blast in that thing. The early cars really attract attention - especially with over the top motors burping through the pipes!

My new purchase 63 Polara 500 383 convertible! what ya think?

That will be a nice ride. It looks to be all there. How bad is the rust underneath? How big is that winch you have on the trailer?

Our first drive in over 5 years!

Sounds really nice. Nothing like a BB Mopar sound, nothing........

    My 67 with 17's!!

I'm the same way, especially not on the older cars. The car looks great. I love the body style and the color, and the wheel style even - but I personally think it would look better with 15" wheels back on it. Just the opinion of a stuck in the 60s old fart...
