FWIW, I took a 1/2" drive Craftsman torque wrench to the one remaining store in our area last year. The ratchet assembly was stripped. I bought it around 30 years ago. I presented it to the young man in the tool section and said that I would like to get it replaced on warranty. He went to the...
Don't throw that Craftsman wrench away. Just last week I took my 35 year old Craftsman torque wrench back to Sears and exchanged it for a new one. The sales guy started to give me grief so I showed him pictures on my phone of my Craftsman roll-away tool boxes full of their tools. He called a...
My back tires are 29X15.0R15LT M/T Sportsman Radials. Fronts are 205/70R15. The platform that the tire sits on is 10"W X 15" L X 6.5" H. They are some form of plastic made in a honeycomb design that would be next to impossible to fail. I usually use my floor jack to get the car up and then set...
Got mine from Harbor Freight : https://www.harborfreight.com/magnum-16000-auto-ramp-set-with-built-in-safety-chock-67722.html Work well and you can remove the ramp from the block to give you better access.
A number of things to consider.
1) Stove ratings are given for a space with 8' ceilings, so in your case, with 13' ceilings you should be looking at stoves with a +-1800 sq. ft. rating. Remember, they heat CUBIC space.
2) In a shop/garage, I would recommend elevating the stove 24" on a built-up...
747mopar; Owned a stove shop for 25 years. Lopi and Avalon are made by Travis Industries, share technology and are great brands. Quadrafire and Blazeking are good brands as well. Some important things to consider:
1) The better insulated the space is, the better CONVECTION style stoves (those...
I owned a woodstove / fireplace sales and installation business for a lot of years. Check this out: http://www.escalera.com/ This machine made my life a lot easier but put my buddy 'Kimo' out of a job... Upstairs, downstairs; no problem.
Bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. It's built like a tank and easily flares even stainless steel (hard) tubing. This is where I bought mine: http://www.plumberscrib.com/ridgid-41162-377-flaring-tool-with-37-sae-flares-rd41162.html?gclid=CJXem5qZiccCFc1ffgodEQwCqw

I've used Intercity Lines for two cars shipped coast to coast. Probably not the cheapest but great communication before, during and after. I used open trailer once and enclosed on the second. No damage to either car and drivers who cared. I recommend them very highly.
Don't know if the holes you were trying to enlarge were round or not but if they were, my best friend is my cone drill bit. They are fantastic, especially in sheetmetal and aluminum. My garage is ALWAYS only one more tool from being complete... Seriously, thanks for the warning and glad you...
Don't know concrete thickness?
That's a problem that a drill and a 1/2" masonry drill bit could solve very easily. Drill a through hole; take a piece of coat hanger and bend a 1/4" "L" on the bottom; drop it in the hole and 'hook' the bottom of the concrete; mark the top of the concrete on the...
