My '65 Coronet has the springs moved inboard with 10 inch steel wheels and 13.50 M/T ET Streets. Went the mini tub route.

Darter, I did mine using the original crossmember in my '65 Coronet. Had to modify the pocket, drill a single hole and used a late model mount. A friend who has been working on Mopar's for 40 years helped. Bob :moparsmiley:

Thanks for posting this photo of Ron Powers, Mr. Black Plymouth. He was a personal friend of mine for many years who passed a few years ago. His success helped him parlay this car into a '65 Plymouth Hemi S/S from Chrysler.

The horsepower rating for the 426 Hemi was grossly underrated for an assortment of reasons.

Classic Industries also sells the kits and hinges as well.

Trying to locate a source for the steering column reverse pattern shift indicator bezel like those used on the S/S Mopars. I need one for my '65 Coronet.

I used a column from a '66 Dodge Coronet to replace the cable type in my '65 Dodge Coronet. Everything from the steering wheel, later replaced, too the trans.

Check the A body rear as it might be a 4 inch bolt pattern. Just a thought.

Most any auto parts store can supply grade 8 bolts and they work fine. Jegs and Summit also have then available.

Schumacher also makes conversion mounts to install later engine trans combinations. I have a friend who has done several change overs and I will ask him which mounts he used. Did you by chance, notice the engine sits farther away from the firewall on the earlier B-bodies? That can be remedied...

I used a Milodon # 30930 in my '65 Dodge Coronet.
