I would like to see a b-body from the side with the 1" arch springs. Right now my front measures from ground to fender opening at 25-5/8" so want the rear to come up to slightly higher than that. Just not a fan of the lowering a car for street use.
Has anyone used Springs & Things, R/T leaf springs that are pre-arched 1-2" above stock?
I would like to get a set of new springs and I want the back end to sit up without having to use air shocks or helper springs. The stock springs just sit too low. I am leaning toward the 1" arch because I...
definately no shackles. but i can buy new springs with a 1"-3' arch for about 400. (would be a 1" arch for me). but was trying to use what have. I can stay with the helper springs for now or spend 80 bucks and go back to air shocks. I just like not having to air up the shocks, and the coil overs...
I used to run air shocks and got rid of them a few years ago for coil over shocks. I love the ride and handling but the ride height is too low. I have R/T leaf springs that are about 8-10 years old. I do not want to go back to air shocks, so I tried the helper springs that attache to the leaf...

Thanks for the advise.
Disc brakes are from 78 volarie, single piston calipers, Bendix brake booster, 70 hemi charger master cylinder (1-1/8" bore).
hard brake lines look fine. no dents bends or any damage to them at all. I am going to order the rubber lines later today and start there. as for...
Did a disc brake conversion to my 69 charger years ago using 78 Volarie setup. About a year ago the car had a stuck right front caliper. Changed both calipers (they needed it) last year and this past month the car was pulling to the right when hitting the brakes and the caliper was sticking. New...
As long as you get a good dual diaphram booster, you will need the backing plate and bell crank assembly to attach to brake pedal and your ready to go. I did that set up and it worked great, then the upgrade to discs was easy from there, but I am all for keeping her stock. i know Classic...
69 charger 440 284/484 cam. Never had this issue before, when backing up at recent cruise night and then again at an auto store the power steering just stopped, had to fight wheel like a manual steering car. after reving it up a little problem went away and backed it up as normal. I replaced the...
