I find it infuriating that Ebay eliminated the Vintage parts and accessories link. Now instead you have to wade through all parts and accessories when looking for vintage parts.
Were all stamping plants say in the case of a fender, using the same dies or were there discrepancies depending on where in the country they were produced and sent to assembly plants.
My stock 4 speed Competition Plus shifter was starting to rattle. I got the nylon bushings from Hurst but they don't seem to fit as they are smaller than the rod ends. I know everything is stock on the car, anyone have ideas as to why they are not fitting? Am I doing something wrong?

Found out the hard way a lowlife at the tire store stripped the threads on one of my center caps. Almost lost it on the freeway. Should I try to re-tap it or just get another? If I re-tap to a bigger size can the metal take it or will it split? Thanks.

This seems to be the way my luck runs. I would spend weeks looking for a part and only finding the most expensive one available. Throwing in the towel and purchasing it and then seeing multiple ones awhile later at the price I was hoping for.

I think the A/C heater fan motor is dying on our car. Does it come out from the firewall or do you have to remove the whole unit from the inside in order to get it out. Thanks.
