63 Fury Resto

63 Fury restoration

About this Mopar:

I have made a lot of posts over past year getting a lot of help from smart forum members to do the resto. Thought I'd post a pic here. It's about done but some other things to finish yet. Though I don't think there's a finish line with our vintage rides! Used to be white with white top until my brother talked me into color change. Must have looked over a 100 colors to find this one and a mopar color it is. Tell ya there's a lot more than 50 shades of gray! Ron h

tbone is right, need more pix. the red side moulding absolutely kills against the grey paint!!!

Thanks gents for asking will drop more photos asap. Been preoccupied with my daughter who moved to Miami two months ago to take a job there. She evacuated to hunker down in a hotel in an area of FL that also got hit pretty hard as Irma wobbled all over the place. Just got word she's OK (thank God) and next to find out what condition her place is in and getting there to help when airports re-open!

Here's a couple more pics I'll get some more new pics of the body. Dyna-matted entire inside new carpet, mats, and another pic of car in garage before getting black top installed. Engine is the redone poly re-machined with .60 bore, 5-way valve job, mech lifters, slightly mod cam, new edlebrock, 3-inch X exhaust with TTI headers, firm-feel steering box, discs, 3:55 gears, new TC, installed later B-body headrests on buckets, and if wondering about dash it's a '62 dash as liked the look of that over the '63...hard to remember all the s*** done offhand, went to coker for 15-inch magnums P235/60 tires. Then had to find a fan shroud (got an original from a fellow forum member) and 7 blade fan to knock down hotter engine temp.

Your car looks great. I have a 1963 Sport Fury that I am trying to restore. I am just in the beginning stages. Maybe some day mine will look as good as yours. Thanks for the pictures.
