Eddie,s Cars

home shop , lift, rotisserie, shear, break welders etc

About this Mopar:

Currently in final stages of a total rotisserie restoration on my 1968 Plymouth Fury III 2dr HDTP. This car was purchased new by my best friends Mother.

Making preparation to rotisserie my 1967 Coronet R/T. I bought this car in 1968 and drag raced it and drove it until 1979 when it was placed in a barn. many years of neglect and finally the barn fell in. Sold the car 3 years ago, the guy left it outside and it went down fast. I repurchased t this summer.

UPDATE: just purchased a complete 67 parts car

In the back of the garage is my 1970 Challenger convertible R/T clone. 440 4spd. this car came to me as a total wreck in 1975. I rebuilt it and R/T cloned it and drove for years. It will be after the Coronet.

1st photo is the Coronet R/T in 1970 , second is now. 3rd photo is the Challenger. 4th photo is Fury on rotisserie totally stripped. 5th is just back from paint shop, 6th is when vinyl top was installed.

Beautiful blue on you're Fury. That car brought back a lot of memory's for me cause my first, real car, was a maroon '68 Fury III with a white vinyl top, 318. I say real car cause my Dad purchased a '48 Plymouth for me when I was 15 for $50 and we got it running and I drove it for bout 3 weeks and the timming chain jumped. Dad took a job working out of town and I didn't know enough or have the money to fix. That Fury went through a lot, air shocks to fit 60s, shift kit for trans...trunk to sneak friends into the drive-in, and plenty of room for me and my girl, lol. Damn I sound like our guests when they sit round the fire-pit here. Hope you post more pictures, I'd love to see it done! Jim @ Gear Head Inn in the Great Smokey Mtns.

Western NC between Cherokee and Bryson city in the mountains. Spent 53 years in FL. where I met Mary and we came up with an idea to find a motel or hotel near the Blue Ridge Parkway after cruising it and seeing a lot of cool cars. We both like muscle cars and are gearheads hence the name and decor for all the rooms. Strange too..I had an uncle Eddie, my Dads brother haha !
