Detailing Supplies
What do you use ? Were do you get them ? Im looking into adding sales to our shop. We would be selling Meguiars, Mothers and 3M to start. Im hoping to be able to build a good mail order business with it.
So the questions are,
Do you use detailing supplies from the above manufactures ?
If yes, Which products do you use or are interested in trying ?
Do you buy your products locally on over the internet ?AdamR

Yes, I use Meguiars wax, mothers metal polish, never used anything from 3M before but wouldn't mind trying it out.

Buffing/polishing compounds, waxes. I just got a polisher for Xmas and used turtlewax's buffing and polishing compounds. They did a pretty good job on my scratches but I can still see them a little bit if I look extremely close. It was on a black truck which may be why I can still kind of see them but at least the scratches aren't white anymore. So I'd be interested to see what other brands could do.
Do you buy your products locally on over the internet ?
Depends, I've done both and would only buy over the internet if savings were there. Locally I have to pay taxes but over the internet you get shipping. Unfortunately with the types of products you are talking about they are easily available locally and usually not that expensive.U.S. Air Force F-16 Avionics 2001-2008

I totally understand a lot of times it doesnt make sense to order online when you cant get a lot of the stuff at your local parts store or even Walmart. There would certainly be deal, packages etc. plus you would be buying from someone that knows detailing and not a $8hr store clerk.

Yeah definitely customer service and knowing that the product will actually do what's expected would be nice.
