Car Porn, 1963 Max Wedge Polara (clone)

This is my "Bud's" Max Wedge Polara clone. I'm copying this car for my 63.
This car is truly amazing. He has the 63 Heads Max Wedge Block, & Manifold.
He had a car like this when he was young, mid 1960s. I met him at MOPAR Spring Fling, Van Nuys, CA. He said he has to "let it warm up" for 15 to 20 minutes before he can drive it. (Just like a real Max Wedge?)
Anyway, good car porn for you all. I thought you might like to see this.
PS: He has a set of 64 Max Wedge heads andf manifold he wants to sell.

An amazing attention to detail. Can't wait to see yous finished. BTY, have you had a chance to deliver your Dodge to the paintshop yet?
You know how body shop guys are, could take a decade or more to get it back!

Yeah, This November is 4 years, $5,300 dollars and $1,200 for the paints that I have given Phoenix Auto, California City, CA for the body work and painting on my 63 Polara. Still NOT DONE.
    My fault for "going local"
    My two options are:
    1. wait it out
    2. pull car oput and take the loss.
    OMG!

Get an attorney--usually when these guys get the letter announcing "I'll be representing Mr. Super-bee-ski in the following matter"--they get off the dime and finish your car. It might cost you $100-200 to have the lawyer write the letter and file the case with the local court, but the body shop doesn't want to go to the expense to defend a case he knows he can't win--worked for me.

Yeah, he IS a "Old Timer". His car looks "original" 1963.
    No deviations at all.

    Yeah, funny huh?
It is incredible though. he and his wife drive it from Lancaster CA to Van Nuys MOPAR Spring fling every year.
Gosh, he must have $50K in it.
That IS a 63 Max Wedge engine.

He said the steering wheel was the hardest thing to find. Took him a couple of years to locate it. It has NOT been restored (if I remember correctly)

I really like the color, not to slight all of the other colors but it seems like most of the cars are either gray, white, black or red and I wanted something different that still followed factory colors for that year.
