    not bad for my first time ever doing it, and the valve job...the other head has all new intake valves im waiting on one valve to be delivered so i can finish the other head...wish they were aluminum but couldn't afford it right now..fig next year i will get some aluminum heads..

    what kinda horse power do u guys think it will put out? id be happy with whatever it had stock really,,its bored 30 over and will have a mild cam..other than that its all original with 452 heads..also what color should i paint it...orange or blue? i want it to look original and like it came in the car from factory

    yeah, the '69s had the same air cleaner for the 4 barrel. found one for mine this summer.

    the 70 4 barrel fresh air breather was different but the 69 will fit .

    all the black mixes well with the color of the car, prob paint the grey on the wheels black this spring, i think a black vinyl top would look awesome on it also

    Love that scoop! Id like to find one the same size and design but about 1/2 as high.. I keep thinking it would look good on my Ram.. Everyone says get the Super Bee ones but i like yours better.. Good work your doing for sure! How wide is that scoop if i can ask?

    not to bad for my first time ever rebuilding a set of heads..i did everything myself from start to finish..it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be to do them..having access to all the tools and machines to do it makes it nice and helped me save some money, i spent about 40 bucks total on rebuilding the heads, fig ill use these till next year and then buy some nice aluminum heads

    im buying a rebuild kit from summit for the block, its called Federal Mogul Premium Engine Rebuild Kit it comes with speed pro pistons, clevit bearings, fel-pro gaskets and all the other stuff u need..anyone here ever tried speed pro pistons? im wondering how good they are..also gotta get a cam and lifters..whats a good brand or set to go with? they have a few to choose from, hows the purple shaft cam? iv herd good and bad about them..what kinda pistons and cam are u guys using? heres the kit im looking at http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fe.../make/chrysler
