I had the "canopy top". Was that required for the sunroof option? Rare vs desireable. A "three-on-the-tree" was rare. But not desireable.

Never thought of it that way - rare, but undesirable.

My 74 RR Sunroof car had the "canopy" top. Was that required for the sunroof? I had to change the roof due to rollover damage from the PO, but still a sunroof. I'd like mine painted. Do-able? Opinions?

lol, I'd leave that car the way it came it would be both Rare and desireable.I know the trim on the roof is really hard to find...I think the canopy was only on cars in 1974 but even if it was out for 1973 as well it would still be really rare.

I had the same dilemma. My '71 GTX is GY9 Tawny Gold metallic, but it had the GOLD top combo.

It's my car, and I'm leaving it off. besides...the top is unavailable.
