The VIN # starts off with WS23L75, which verifies this to be a real 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T. to my knowledge all of the original body panels are present, including the trunk floor, floor pans and quarter panels. A perfectly straight, unmolested, 100% original body. The car has received one cosmetic repaint in the correct ZZ1 Gold Metallic. The body is super straight. There is a slight discoloration mark on the top of the left front fender.
All of the trim on the car is in fantastic condition. The bumpers and original door handles have been re-chromed. The drivers and passenger side mirrors are perfect. All of the emblems are in perfect condition. The bright work is exceptional, with a near perfect original grille, headlight bezels and tail panel molding. The tinted glass is all factory original glass and in superb condition.
The interior is equally as nice, with a flawless dash pad, instrument cluster, gauges and wood steering wheel. All hardware and trim on the inside of this Coronet are original, including the center console chrome, the factory tachometer, chrome trim, door handles and, window cranks. The original sun visors have been replaced and are flawless. The front seats have had new foam cores installed. The rear seat was recovered with a correct replacement from Legendary Auto Interiors. The center console is has no cracks. The carpet is correct replacement from Legendary Auto Interiors. The upper and lower doors were repainted when the Coronet's body was repainted. In short, this is an exceptional, black vinyl interior.
The front suspension has been rebuilt and aligned. The front brake calipers have recently been rebuilt and new custom pads installed. Gas shocks are present at all four corners and operate properly. The undercarriage of the Coronet is absolutely un-restored and original without a speck of rust or rot anywhere
(with the exception of new rear springs)
In summary, if you are a 66-67 B Body fan, you know how difficult it is to find nice, original and unmolested cars. This is a real deal factory R/T with its original body panels. Although the original engine has been updated the original heads and exhaust manifolds come with the car. A rebuilt 727 Torqueflite also comes with the car. Moreover, because this car is not a high dollar trailer queen and is riding on a dry, rust free undercarriage, you can drive and enjoy the car without concern that you are going to destroy its value.
