I need your help out there. I have a fully restored factory A/C system in my 1969 Road Runner. Just had it charged today. The problem is it blows cold out the drivers side defrost vent, and hot out the passenger side. All the doors seem to be operating correctly.
Any ideas on what to check? Any help will be great.

The doors can't be working correctly. It is the only way the heat is regulated. Put vacuum to the controller and see if the doors move.
Also check the heater control valve see if it is closing.

Thanks for your feed back. All the vacuum canisters are working and opening and closing the doors as they should. The heater control valve is also moving from open to close looking at it from the outside. It could be the valve internally is not functioning even though the arm moves back and forth from an external view.
I think we are getting close to figuring this out. If something else comes to mind let me know.

I want to thank everyone for the replies and suggestions on what to look for. I feel like I am getting close to a answer.

Assuming the '69 is similar to a '68 I am really confused as to how this can be caused by door positions. You did not say the postion of the controls when this occurs.
