440 water jacket bolt holes on 906 heads

What is the best sealant to use on the end bolts on a 906 head? And would I be ok, if I remove 1 bolt at a time without having to replace the header gasket?

Main thing is to drain the water first. Threads in the head should be dry before installing bolt or stud for a good seal when using a sealant.

And do them all. Some have been known to be just the end studs but many have found it could be any of the holes. I like to use Permatex #2 or Teflon paste.

Yes it should be OK if you do them one at a time.
