64 Polara Gen3 Turbo Build

I have zero concerns about driving the car anywhere. It's exceptionally mild cam, boost will be kept conservative. I have a buddy with the same build running 9's in a 4500# magnum wagon and he drives his kids to school in it. That's the difference w new motors. Especially big motors that don't have to be pushed hard to make the power.

I build lots of daily driven 600-1200 horse gen3 hemi cars. It's not like it used to be. If I had a more robust block available for the gen3 hemi I'd probably turn out 2000 plus horsepower

the intake going together. It's going to be very nice 12771890_10206305114489246_1731721541857335721_o.jpg12779201_10206305114609249_890866255851383419_o.jpg

GEN III Hemi is great, same can be achieved with an aftermarket RB/B block however. Trick Flow's recent cylinder head design has really closed the gap between Wedge and Hemi performance. All I can say is, did you hand your builder a 'blank check'!? Great work, hate seeing it done twice. Going to hold you to the 'street car' standard, expect to see lots of tire replacement receipts.. lol

damm lx, that motor so far is flat out awesome looking, post more motor **** soon.

We are working on getting the back half of the chassis done now. We are also in the process of finishing the lower half of the intake. Hopefully I will have some more pics to post very soon

Maybe, but my 426 cubic inch aluminum gen3 weighs 200-300 pounds less than an RB/B

Nice work! Hate to ask how many hours of work or pounds of welding rod-wire you have in that cage?

couldnt really tell ya, too much of both to even track

I just finished reading through this thread and I feel like I've read 500 pages of a book and then someone tore out the last 2 chapters!

Is there another thread where the build continued? I hope?!

I have had all kinds of things just absolutely ruin this build for me. I have been ripped off more times than I can count. I had a chassis guy I spent a ton of money with rip me off. I had a engine builder basically steal the engine, I had another chassis shop sit on the car for nearly a year and not touch it. I have it at a chassis shop that has had it for almost 2 years, charged me almost 20k and I cant even get the guy to work on it. I sold the last engine that was sitting here because it has been sitting a year and a half and there was no end in sight. I have all but given up on finishing this car. Its for sale if you wanna buy it.
