Had a rough time trying to install the spring clip that holds the trunk lock in place (combination of small access hole and my weak fingers from "old" age). Then I found this discarded PVC pipe in the back yard. It fit in the cutout in the trunk and I used the "pistol" grip to push the clip on the lock with the end of the pipe which fit in the cutout hole.
This was much easier than trying to push it on with my finger(s).
