I'm looking to the same thing but was looking at Porsche 997 sport seats. This has a much better price But. And this is a big but. How do you fit in the seat. This is why I was looking at the Porsche seat as it is the best fitting seat I have ever used. Try to find someone that has these seats and see if you want to spend time in it. If not will you drive the car much. I would love to hear what you think when you find out.

I sat in a similar set that were used in a 68 Pro Touring Dart and they were very comfortable. The owner bought a very basic reclining set and then had them recovered in leather. I have my original seats and plan to hold on to them if I ever sell the car. I am just hoping the aftermarket seats look as good in my GTX as they do in the Dart (Attaching picture of his seats).

I did some different style bucket seats in my 68 RR
wanted to get away from the bench seat it came with
I also wanted something better than stock style buckets too...

I went with a Pro-Car Scat Elite 1100 in black,

Nice light seats, nice bolsters, nice seat back adj., nice material,
nice adj. head rests, a bit "lower profile", sits low,
looks a tad bit more era correct, for my project style,
not that that matters
IIRC they have leather too, may have to check it might be foe leatheret
they had premade seat brackets & slides too,
it was 7-8 year ago IIRC
I had to drill the 2 holes on each side by the tunnel,
other that that a bolt in, easy peasy stuff...

I liked them they are comfortable & lower than many aftermarket seat
I have a tall upper body torso, I wanted more headroom & comfort
in a performance seat that looked nice & held me in place,
they did all the above, I think they are a little more $$$ now...
I was surprised how nice & comfy they are...
You could easily do a harness with them too,
I have the lower sfi style belts & a factory shoulder strap,
when I'm done with other stuff I will add a roll-bar &
add the uppers of the harness too...

Just Another Option

IMO, I found the seats with the molded hi-backs
are restricting my view over the shoulder & out the back...
No big deal really, that was the only negative,
partially why I choose the seats I have today...
Partially more fit the era of my build too, like a early 70's day 2 car...
