I saw that last night I was giving it some serious thought but as I'm having issue restoring cars I decide to wait till a Daytona comes up for sale in my price range ..... never....

So, one of my coworkers bought a 61 chevy wagon at Daytona a couple years ago...

Rusted out hard to find tailgate and hinge area, looked like brush paint, fair stock interior-

$6,500

By contrast my 67 Bel II wagon with original paint and very little serious rust except the floor pans, also with fair interior but with A/C and a running engine, NOT at Daytona-

$800

Money pits............
Totally agree. You would be money ahead to pay the price for a rust free car and finish it. Trying to restore these rust bombs just doesn't make sense anymore with so many reasonably priced finished cars on the market. JMHFO.
