nope,not a fuzzy
it was a extra chrome molding that ran across
the top of the door as Mark noted
it was a not a common option on 68-72 b body cars

All convertibles got belt molding too. I never had any water/rust issues with them. Along the door there are a series of holes drilled near the window/door "lips" with some push-in clips.
