I am looking for information regarding the installation of the chrome on the top of the door panels on a 66 Belvedere. It was crimped on the old door panels and I have new panels from Legendary. My question is, how do you re crimp the chrome trim onto the door panel without marking up the trim? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am wondering the same thing myself, as I have a door card set on its way from Legendary. However, some '66/67 cars came with the chrome strip that screws to the door shell, and acts as the top retainer; this eliminates the need for door panel clips along the top of the panel. I scooped up a set off a parts car, and will use this method to install the panels when the time comes.
